Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") apply to your use of the M. Romero's Roofing & Inspections Inc. ("we," "us," "our") website and to any roofing services we perform for you.

By using this website, requesting an estimate, or hiring us for any service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or services.

We provide residential and commercial roofing services in South Florida, including:

• New roof installation
• Roof replacement and re-roofing
• Roof repairs
• Roof inspections
• Roof maintenance
• Commercial roofing systems

The exact scope of work for any project is defined in the written proposal we provide before work begins.

Estimates are free and are provided in writing after an on-site inspection. Verbal estimates are not binding. Estimates are valid for thirty (30) days from the date issued unless stated otherwise in writing.

Material prices are subject to change. If material costs change significantly between the date of your estimate and the start of work, we may revise the price with your written approval before proceeding.

When required, we obtain the necessary permits and coordinate inspections with the local building department. Permit and inspection fees may be passed through at cost.

All work is performed in accordance with applicable Florida Building Code requirements in effect at the time of installation.

To allow us to perform the work properly and safely, you agree to:

• Provide access to the property and the roof area on scheduled work days
• Move or protect items in attics or under work areas that may be affected by debris or vibration
• Move vehicles and other personal property out of the work zone before work begins
• Identify any known hazards on the property (such as septic tanks, irrigation lines, or solar panels) before work begins
• Inform us of any HOA requirements, deed restrictions, or other rules that apply to the project
• Keep children and pets away from work areas during active work

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, payment terms are as stated in the signed proposal. A deposit may be required to schedule work and order materials. The balance is due upon substantial completion of the work.

We accept the payment methods listed in the proposal. Returned checks and overdue balances may be subject to fees as permitted by Florida law.

We provide a workmanship warranty covering installation labor. The term is 2 years or 10 years depending on the roof system installed, and up to 12 years on certain metal systems, as stated in the signed proposal.

Material warranties are provided by the product manufacturer and are subject to that manufacturer's terms and conditions. We will provide manufacturer warranty information upon request.

Warranties do not cover damage caused by:

• Acts of God, including hurricanes, tornadoes, hail, lightning, and named storms
• Falling trees, branches, or other foreign objects
• Modifications, repairs, or alterations performed by others after our work is complete
• Foot traffic on the roof or improper maintenance
• Pre-existing structural issues or material defects
• Pest or animal damage

Warranty service is conditional on the project being paid in full and the property being accessible to us for inspection.

Roofing work depends on the weather. We may pause or reschedule work due to rain, high winds, lightning, extreme heat, or any condition we consider unsafe.

We will give you reasonable notice of weather-related delays. Such delays do not constitute a breach of contract and do not entitle either party to cancel the agreement.

Any change to the scope, materials, or schedule must be agreed to in writing (a "Change Order"). Change Orders may affect the price and timeline.

If you cancel a signed proposal after work has been scheduled or materials have been ordered, you may be responsible for actual costs incurred up to the point of cancellation, including non-refundable material and permit fees, as permitted by Florida law.

To the fullest extent permitted by Florida law, our total liability arising out of any service or your use of this website is limited to the amount you paid us for the project at issue.

We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including lost profits, lost income, or loss of use, except where such limitations are prohibited by law.

Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law, including liability for fraud or gross negligence.

We may take before, during, and after photographs of completed projects for our records, portfolio, social media, and marketing materials. We will not include personally identifying information (such as house numbers or family names) without your written consent.

If you do not want photographs of your project used in marketing, please let us know in writing before work begins.

The content on this website, including text, graphics, logos, and images, is owned by M. Romero's Roofing & Inspections Inc. or its licensors and is protected by copyright and trademark laws.

You may view and print pages from the website for personal, non-commercial use. You may not reproduce, modify, distribute, or republish content without our prior written permission.

Information on this website is provided for general informational purposes only and is not a substitute for a professional inspection or written proposal. Specific advice for your project will only be provided after an on-site visit.

These Terms and any service agreement between you and us are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

Any dispute arising out of or related to these Terms or our services will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Miami-Dade County, Florida, and you consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Updated Terms will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Your continued use of our website or services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
